This year, AngelHack is proud to announce our first annual Code4Impact Award, which will recognize emerging tech startups that have a positive impact on the world. The mission of the Code 4 Impact prize is to demonstrate that social responsibility is a fundamental pillar of success for any business, regardless of the industry. Social entrepreneurs across the globe are invited to pitch your social good startup idea at any of our 50 global hackathon series events in 2016.
The top 3 teams will be chosen by July 15, 2016 and will be invited to participate in our HACKcelerator. From HACKcelerator, one team will be chosen as a finalist and will receive a travel stipend financed by AngelHack’s nonprofit arm Code for a Cause, to participate in our Global Demo Day this fall in San Francisco, including one-on-one meetings with leaders in social entrepreneurship and a range of other exciting opportunities.
Teams competing for the Code 4 Impact award are eligible for a discount code to attend any global series event for free. Please email [email protected] to request a code.
Additionally the winners in each city will get the Code4Impact Award, which includes a digital badge, a feature in an AngelHack blog post and more!
